hmk012 Posted March 14, 2015 #1 Share Posted March 14, 2015 What are the current themed nights on the Magic? Is it just Pirate Night and Princess Night (I've heard it's something along those lines). We are going on the March 29th sailing and want to make sure we pack the correct stuff!
Shmoo here Posted March 14, 2015 #2 Share Posted March 14, 2015 What are the current themed nights on the Magic? Is it just Pirate Night and Princess Night (I've heard it's something along those lines). We are going on the March 29th sailing and want to make sure we pack the correct stuff! The only "theme" night is Pirate night. There are Pirate activities, and people wearing pirate costumes all evening/night and the Pirate party with fireworks. The Prince and Princess is the name of a menu that's served in the Main Dining Room (usually on formal night). It's not really a "theme" night, although little girls and boys may dress as prince and princesses (well, they do that most any night).
moki'smommy Posted March 14, 2015 #3 Share Posted March 14, 2015 The 4 nights that are not signature menu nights in the dining rooms are called theme nights. However, the "theme" is basically limited to the costumes the servers wear, the picture on the front of the menu, and the costumes of someof the characters. The current themes are Prince and Princess, Captain's Gala, Pirate, and See You Real Soon. Only Pirate night has activities coordinated to the theme. The themes I listed above are in the dining rooms.

There is the formal and semi formal nights as well though. ex techie Formal and semi formal are "suggested attire." They are typically held on the Captain's Gala and Prince and Princess nights. If you look in the Navigator, you will see listed both a theme for the night and a "suggested attire." The dance party themes in the nightclubs are a totally different thing and typically begin at 10:30 in Fathoms (formerly Rockin Bar D), etc.

It is typically on the first sea day.
