Carnival Legend Snorkeling Trip

We will be in Tortola from 7am-2pm. We are wondering if anyone has taken the ships snorkeling trip, and if so where did they take you, and did you feel it was worthwhile. With such a short amount of time in this port, we are reluctant to book a trip on our own. Also, the Carnival website just shows $, but no actual amount of the trip, if you can let me know the cost, I would appreciate it. Thanks!
