Island Princess and original Royal Princess in Panama Canal

LOVED the Royal Princess I; my first Princess cruise.

My first cruise experience, including the Panama Canal, was on the original Pacific Princess, and side by side with the original Royal Princess......the Royal would dwarf the Pacific Princess.

 

We had everyone that would not miss experiencing coming into position, outside of the canal, just standing by, waiting to enter the Gatun locks. It looked very much like the picture of the Royal Princess, with so many people out.
