ACR1111 Posted March 17, 2015 #1 Share Posted March 17, 2015 Hello, Trying to find out if we would have enough time for both a visit to the Baths (booked with NCL excursion) and a visit to the one of the beaches (Brewers Bay or CGB). The excursion is listed to begin at 8:00AM and lasts 4 hours. We are in port until 5PM. We are thinking to take a taxi to the beach once the ferry drops us off at the terminal. Thanks in advance for any advice/input!
familyfun4 Posted April 12, 2015 #2 Share Posted April 12, 2015 Bumping for both of us. We'll be going to the Baths on our own though, not thru NCL so to give us more flexibility to explore on our own and then to a beach like CGB for a few hours. OCruisers Posted April 12, 2015 #3 Share Posted April 12, 2015 When you go to The Baths, there really isn't adequate time to also go to Brewer's or CGB. ;) LuLu
blue_water Posted April 13, 2015 #4 Share Posted April 13, 2015 So are you docked from 7 - 5? Ferries depart from 7AM weekdays and 8 or 9AM weekends (with fewer departures) and if the ferry schedule works for you that day with minimal waiting you could do it. That's the key, you'd have take the earliest ferry you could. We'd prefer to spend a few hours at the Baths and see other spots on VG so we wouldn't rush back to go to a beach. But with a long day in port you could do both if you hustle. If you go to Brewers you may need to allow time for a taxi to be called to pick you up.
