Fury1995 Posted September 6, 2005 #1 Share Posted September 6, 2005 Swizzle, we are leaving this Sunday bound for Bermuda. What are the local forecasters in Bermuda saying about "Nate"? What do they predict? Thanks.

Reese1717 Posted September 6, 2005 #4 Share Posted September 6, 2005 I hope you do not get hit to hard by the tropical storm. This season has brought enough tragedy and I am dreading what the rest of the hurricane season has in store for us. By us I mean N. America, Carribean, Bermuda, S. America. :(
Swizzle v2.0 Posted September 7, 2005 #5 Share Posted September 7, 2005 Winds are now 70mph, looks like Nate will become at Cat 1 hurricane when it passes Bermuda on Thursday/Friday. On the bright side, Fury1995, Nate will be long gone by Sunday. CruisinInAugust Posted September 7, 2005 #7 Share Posted September 7, 2005 In just my one visit, I have become quite attached to that wonderful group of islands and its inhabitants. I hope Nate doesn't do any damage and that everyone stays self.

Swizzle v2.0 Posted September 8, 2005 #12 Share Posted September 8, 2005 Hi Bermuda Longtail, long time no see. :) Nate has gone south of the island so Bermuda will not be hit by hurricane force winds! Lots (and lots) of rain right now but offices and schools remain open today. The storm should pass by tomorrow. There shouldn't be much damage here so provided Tropical Strom Ophelia doesn't head our way your Sunday cruise should be fine.
