Tips for using GoPro on a cruise

I recently purchased a GoPro for our incoming cruise. For you guys who have used one, what advise do you have for using it both on the boat and in the water? Setting, frames, etc...

I recently purchased a GoPro for our incoming cruise. For you guys who have used one, what advise do you have for using it both on the boat and in the water? Setting, frames, etc...

 

What GP variant did you get?

Make sure to get a floaty for it. I got the gopole bobber for the water and a gopole for just walking around. I first bought a cheap pole off of amazon and when I extend the pole the gopro would spin down words.

Tell us more!! Like with any camera device, much depends on what you like to "capture" with your new GoPro. Where is your cruise going, locations to be visited? How do you like to share your visual images? With more background from you, we can better give suggestions and ideas for how to maximize that fun device.
