OT: Charity to send Plus-size donations for Katrina

I realize this is off-topic, but with the tragedy in the Gulf Coast, I thought this would be appropriate to post here. Please forward to anyone you know who may be able to help.

ElegantPlus.com is coordinating efforts with the Houston based

interfaith charity Star of Hope in collecting donations for the thousands of

Hurricane Katrina evacuees now in Houston, TX and the surrounding area.

They have been designated a central collection and distribution point

for clothing donations. They are in urgent need of plus size clothing

donations for both men and women. Please remember the climate in that

part of the country is warm.

 

Urgent Needs Include:

 

Women's clothing - size 16 & up

Women's Underwear - new only - plus sizes

Mens Dress shirts - large

Mens Sports coats - large

Mens Dress suits - large

Mens Dress shoes - large

 

Please mail donations directly to them and include a note stating that

the donation is part of the ElegantPlus.com Hurricane Relief Drive.
