Hamilton Front St Afternoon Sun

Veendam docked at Front St. Would port or starboard balconies get afternoon sun? In early May would it really matter re temperature?

Front Street lies pretty much East-West, so the starboard side will face North, the bow West, etc.

 

On an afternoon in early May 2013 I remember sitting on the balcony of Flanagan's restaurant across the street from the ship and the sun was pretty hot!

Yes, great view from the balcony of Flanigans..especially when VEENDAM is alongside Front Street!

 

 

The OB... the best side for sun... port side of the ship.... by very late afternoon... more right ahead of the bow... and by the time sun starts dipping... warm but sun shields by the buildings.
