At Sea 4Ever Posted March 23, 2015 #1 Share Posted March 23, 2015 Since my DH and I live 20 minutes from Cape Liberty we took a drive this past Saturday to check out the Quantum and the new cruise terminal. We took some pictures to share! Enjoy!

Ocean View Posted March 23, 2015 #5 Share Posted March 23, 2015 Wow cool!! We also live about 20 min away haven't gotten down there yet to check her out. I would love to. Is she in port Sunday?? I'll have to check. She looks very large. Thanks for sharing. Nice to have a warm thought [emoji41][emoji267]
Ocean View Posted March 23, 2015 #6 Share Posted March 23, 2015 Think I was following along with your post. Weren't you just off the Vision? Love to hear and see what you have to say. I know coming home life gets in the way it's hard to find time to review. [emoji41][emoji267]
Ocean View Posted March 23, 2015 #7 Share Posted March 23, 2015 Could you see the boarding process is there a catwalk like in Florida?
At Sea 4Ever Posted March 23, 2015 Author #8 Share Posted March 23, 2015 She will be back in port Sunday! Yes she did look very large in person! They really did a nice job with the terminal down there. There is now a ramp like most other terminals. It's more organized with the transfer stations for the buses now and drop offs with luggage. Yes we just got off the Vision about a week ago and yes tonight I promise I will do a mini review! Thanks for your interest! Glad you enjoyed the pictures [emoji1]

Max Density Posted March 23, 2015 #11 Share Posted March 23, 2015 Did you hear anything about the new parking garage? Yeah, I'm kind of interested in that myself, since my fmaily and I will be driving there in June.

At Sea 4Ever Posted March 24, 2015 Author #13 Share Posted March 24, 2015 I saw the regular parking lot that they always used but did not notice a garage. After we got home I realized I should have looked for it but just from what I saw it didn't look like there was a garage. We go down there every so often to see the ships so next time I will check it out!
Rare John&LaLa Posted March 24, 2015 #14 Share Posted March 24, 2015 Nice pics, I can't help thinking she looks nicer with blue skies and palm trees though.

knots4crewzing Posted March 24, 2015 #16 Share Posted March 24, 2015 Thanx so much for the awesome pictures:). My Husband and i are eagerly waiting to see the Quantum and the new cruise terminal in person. The ship looks amazing and the terminal seems like it will be a lot easier. Less than 3 weeks :D Liz:)
MDCruizer Posted March 24, 2015 #17 Share Posted March 24, 2015 From what I've read about the parking at the port there is no covered parking area. Just a parking lot and its $19.00 a day.
A.S. Posted March 24, 2015 #18 Share Posted March 24, 2015 Do they still have the passengers take a bus to the ship from the terminal?
At Sea 4Ever Posted March 24, 2015 Author #19 Share Posted March 24, 2015 Do they still have the passengers take a bus to the ship from the terminal? It looks like the bus transport is gone! The terminal is right infront of the ship and the gangway is attached to both.
dundalkhon Posted April 2, 2015 #20 Share Posted April 2, 2015 Any information about the long term parking lot facility in Cape Liberty is much appreciated. we will be on the Quantum in April and it will be our first trip up there and I'm a little nervous. :)
gaylemh Posted April 2, 2015 #21 Share Posted April 2, 2015 They still have an optional shuttle if you want to take it from the parking lot to the terminal. It's an easy walk too.
