bfamily4 Posted March 26, 2015 #1 Share Posted March 26, 2015 so, only dh drinks soda. kids and i don't. and it looks like we all have to purchase the soda package even if he would be the one benefitting from it. dh only drinks soda with lunch/dinner and maybe in the afternoon, but usually coffee before supper. would it be worth it to spend $200 on the soda pkg or should he just order it individually as needed? how much does one soda cost? is regular coffee included in the cruise fare? sorry for all the questions. new to ncl. any help is appreciated! Demonyte Posted March 26, 2015 #2 Share Posted March 26, 2015 (edited) One soda is $2.25 + 18% auto-gratuity. You can buy the soda package only for him by calling NCL or waiting until you are onboard. If drinking more than three sodas a day, the package is worth it. Yes, regular coffee is included. cliffd64 Posted March 26, 2015 #5 Share Posted March 26, 2015 If you purchase the soda card on board, you do not have to buy for everyone, only the person getting one. So that will bring your price back down to a reasonable amount.

Brandi7240 Posted March 27, 2015 #7 Share Posted March 27, 2015 We returned from the Breakaway on 3-22-15. Before we left we simply wrapped a couple of cases of our favorite beverages, including a case of bottled water for excursions, with duct tape and put a luggage tag on it. Upon embarking the porter took the beverages with our luggage. When our luggage was delivered to our room so were the cases of beverages. No problem at all and we saved quite a bit of money. It's a snap and it works!
