Question about guaranteed cabin

I booked the cruise under the B1 guaranteed cabin option. How do they assign cabins? First come, first serve? Order in which the cruise was booked? There are some B1 cabins that I certainly would not be happy with (obstructed view, smaller balcony, etc.) Thoughts?

If your booked a B1 guaranteed , you could get any cabin in B1 or be upgraded .If you don't want specific cabins you should just book the cabin you want . You basically are paying for a B1 and your guaranteed a cabin. Assignment can be do at anytime right up to the day you arrive at the pier.
