JasonTehGreat Posted April 8, 2015 Author #27 Share Posted April 8, 2015 Do you remember the opening and closing hours of the Fitness center? Thank you. I believe it opened at 6:00AM with some equipment unavailable until 8:00AM and closed around 10:00PM.

58Piano Posted April 23, 2015 #29 Share Posted April 23, 2015 We are going on the Emerald in October. It is our 5th Princess cruise. Was wondering how this ship compares to the Crown and Caribbean? What is the sanctuary like? On the Crown you have to go to the Lotus Spa. Go out to the pool and up the stairs to get to it? Is it the same way on the Emerald? Very awkward way to get to it. But loved it. We had a double lounger for the week. But when we wanted a drink or snack we had to go thru the Sun deck then down a flight of stairs to the Lido deck. Again very awkward. Is the Emerald the same confusing way? Best place to see the see the sunset? Good bar to do slowing dancing? Best little hidden spot to chill out? pablo222 Posted April 23, 2015 #30 Share Posted April 23, 2015 Big savings from people who now bring their own aboard and thus do not use the Princess product. Plenty of complaints about the previous products, as well as complaints about the paper packaging. But, you can't really take any of it seriously. Princess could be giving away money, and someone here would complain about the denominations.

When I do my "talk" with the steward on the first afternoon, I simply ask him to leave an extra bar of soap in the cabin for the shower. They're usually pretty good about that sort of thing. JasonTehGreat Posted April 25, 2015 Author #32 Share Posted April 25, 2015 What movies were shown this week? Were any shown in the main theater inside? Also, some dining questions. Was there a wait in open dining? How was the food in the MDR? How was the ice cream? Did you eat in any of the specialty restaurants? If so, were you pleased? We board on the 21st for the trip to Europe! Imitation Game and the new Hunger Games were shown. I know at least one was shown in Explorers. I had fixed dining so not sure about lines for open. The food was ok to good, not great. Ice cream was really good. Did not eat in specialty restaurants.

You can also go through the spa. There was the Tradewinds bar that was the closest I saw. Also the deck up by the Tradewinds has nice, open views. Perfect for sunset. There were some people dancing in Crooners. Wheelhouse was nice and quiet.
