Laura and I doing "the lean" at Coconuts.

Don't get wrong I enjoyed the bar once we were up there but the hike up about 40 steps on an uneven surface was not fun. I am definitely happy that this wasn't the last bar otherwise those stairs would have been a killer trying to come down......hahahahaha

If you didn't get the guy to weave you a hat on the spot then you missed out. :)

Maybe he was walking around selling grasshoppers for $1 ?

Completely understand the first hand love of communities is awesome to see firsthand. I hope you recovery and rebuilding goes easily and quickly. Our city still rebuilding after 4 years next month, but all the outpouring we received was phenomenal.

I've always been proud to call Kirkland my home but after this tragedy it is amazing to see all the love and support that strangers have for one another.

I'm sure that it will take years for our little community to rebuild and get back on their feet but I know that they have a lot of people behind them every step of the way

Loving the pics from the Bar Hop. I'll be going for my 2nd time in July when we cruise the Freedom. I live in Washington, Il. I hope your community feels the prayers we've been sending. One of the things we learned from the devastation here is YOLO. Enjoy life... cruise on!

Karen

So if you're going for your second time on the Bar Hop you will be a "FO HO." [emoji2]

So you know firsthand what our community is going through. Yesterday someone from your community presented our Lions Club with a check for $10,000 to aid in the relief efforts. The money raised come from an online fundraiser. Thank you to your community for helping us [emoji2]

1st and most important - My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone impacted by the tornado. That was very sweet of you to do what you could to help in what I'm sure felt like a "helpless" situation.

2nd - Sending your dad well wishes!!!!!!!!!!!!!

3rd - Oooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhh Brianna! I have done three, soon to be four RCCL cruises and one NCL cruise. I've never had the urge or want to do a Carnival cruise only because I figured I would stick with one line and rack up my loyalty points, etc. If it's not broke why fix it, right? Let me tell you....you have me REALLY, REALLY, REALLY wanting to go on the Breeze!!!!

The towel animal theater was really adorable...I would have loved that! The ship looks gorgeous!!! Guys Burgers looks like a definite future addiction! Good lawd!

I drink on my cruises, but not enough to get a package, etc. I would have never contemplated a bar hop before, but your stories and pics have me really wanting to do it! That Pina Colada looks YUM and I am loving the pic of the chameleon that was spying on you!!!! They are the cute ones with the little claspy hands.

Okay...enough of me blabbering.....I love your review so far and am having a blast with my virtual vacation through you!

Thank you , thank you!!!!!

As we left Coconuts there was a guy handing out Bamboo grasshoppers. So I'm sure it's the same guy that you were talking about. I didn't take one because it was just another thing that I would have to carry throughout the day.

I never did see the hats though. I would have had to wear my chicken hat with it

Where were from in Illinois?? Continue with the prayers for my community

A small town (Wataga) just a few minutes outside of Galesburg. Or if that is still too small, 45 minutes northwest of Peoria. Our town had roughly 1,000 people in it so I know how tight small communities are. Continued prayers will still be coming because it is not a quick task to rebuild.

I'm so happy to be caught up on your review. I'm so sad to be caught up with your review! As always thanks for doing this for us!! I wrote one once and its a ton of work and I really appericate it!

Glad you got to sail the Breeze! We sailed her in Feb lovely ship! We ended up being a party of 10 when we sailed! What a great time we had! Though we never mad it to a single show, made it to the dining room once, did no activities. We just hung out together (normally in the smoking area outside the Red Frog or casino bar) and enjoyed having not a care in the world after the busy stressful winter we had. So it been so nice to see more of the ship through your review!

I love the pic of the Freedom next to the Breeze as they are my last 2 ships I sailed!

I'm glad you got to sail with friends even though sure you missed your dad. I'm glad to hear he is doing well and will be hopefully with you on the next adventure!

Thanks for the updates about the tornado. They are no joke! Hope the community continues to pull together and support!

Yeah I have never heard of it. I'm sure it's a lot like Kirkland and Fairdale. People have never heard of our towns until this past week....and then they hear about your small town for all the wrong reasons.

No I'm sure it won't come anytime soon to rebuild but the prayers need to continue because these people definitely have a long road ahead of them.

I have loved reading your review. Cannot wait for the rest. 34 days until we will be on the Breeze, and we cannot wait.

Thank you so much. You will love your cruise on the Breeze. It got voted today as the best cruise ship so you picked a good one

That is a big countdown. I have about 600 days until our 12-day repositioning cruise on the Breeze from Miami to Galveston, TX. I will be old and gray by the time that cruise comes around

Try 720 days. :-). That's how long before my next cruise and of course it's on the breeze!!

Thank you. Yes the Breeze is a great ship. I know we definitely didn't see everything. While onboard we booked the 12-day repo cruise on the Breeze for November 2016.

It was weird cruising without my dad but I had a great time with friends.

Heard about the tornado while on our cruise last week. Had no idea that you were so close. Our thoughts and prayers to all that were affected. :(

Yes it was a little too close to home. You never think it'll come that close to you. Thank you for the prayers for our community.

How was your cruise on the Pride?? Will you be doing a review??

Holy Cow!!! Yeah I thought my countdown of 594 days was a lot until our repo cruise on the Breeze. I'm sure I'll have 2-3 cruises in between now and then [emoji2]

Thank You Sarah. Yes it was definitely quite a weekend

It is great following along here...never think ...and I know you never will....that being an example of joy in life...continuing on when facing things head on..and acknowledging so many people as you go is a waste. It is a model of how we all should be...

You are such a better people and group person than I am....

It is always very easy for me to skip through to get to your review when I want,,,,you do it so well and it is a gift to remembering and wanting to travel this way with a lot of "how to's". I basically think cruising is a great example of how to get away..renew..and also meet so many people you have to care enough with for short time...so it is a people building skill for whoever goes on one each time..kind of a reflection of where one is with oneself and others..such a great supportful teacher that way...

You are such an example of someone who loves travel, loves your family, has not wasted finding time for living your passion and sharing it both one on one with your dad and close loved ones and then all of us and lucky friends...you are really quite special Brianna...honored you respond back...stay well..take care of you so you can be the bright light to others you are!!!

It would be very special to go on one that the Krewe goes on one day...I need more solo time on vacation but would sure love to have a Krewe I could join back and forth through a week.

So excited that Breeze got a best ship voting. Had a little "discussion" because I beleive in lots of ships, hotels, types of travel and dfferent ships and lines for different situations....

But I do love Carnival..and ready to go on her (quite a few..most ships would be ok for me LOL) again sometime..not sure of when or what is next, uneven work and hrs makes 90 or less out the best for me....anyway you really touch so many people Brianna...prayers and hugs...and I have lived through lots of very scarey wind and winter storms,..like lift the barn roof off and have to put mattresses against living room windows at 6000 feet but never a true true twister like you guys just survived....we had a close mini one that took the Bilings Metra (big event center) a few years back on Father's day and our end of it , 3 hrs away (which is close in Montana speak and travel) was hail and many new roofs and siding...but never ever this bad..and when you had neighbors so close get wiped out..many many prayers...for all in this kind of tragedy...God bless you B.; Sarah

Question- do you know if the Breeze has a magician or hypnotist?

If you are referring to one in the dining room then no I never saw one but that doesn't mean that there wasn't one there.

I do know that there wasn't a magician or hypnotist show in the theater

And you are more than welcome to cruise with me and my KREWE anytime. We are always looking for more members ;) Our next KREWE cruise is December 7, 2015 on the Elation. Just a short 5-day and we would love to have you onboard with us.

When you have a minute will you please send me an email to butzy80@gmail.com....I would like to ask you a question.

And seriously THANK YOU for making my day :)

Who is ready for some more photos.....I know I am. The third stop on the Cozumel Bar Hop was at Playa Bonita. This stop is where I really started to have fun. I mean the first two stops Punta Morena and Coconuts were fun too but I started to let loose at Playa Bonita. You'll see what I mean by that in the photos

This is Playa Bonita bar. You can write your names on the wall...so fun. Leave your mark in Cozumel

I could have just stayed at this bar the whole time drinking and listening to the waves hit the rocks
