john watson Posted March 31, 2015 #3 Share Posted March 31, 2015 (edited) You are probably in the best position as first sitting is the most popular at the moment on most cruises. You should have no difficulty. A couple of weeks ago it became apparent on Oceana that to get to the shows when you were on Freedom Dining was a bit tricky. Everyone affected seemed to want to have dinner as soon as the Freedom Dining facility opened. As the days went on the pre restaurant queue got longer and earlier; sometimes as much as a half an hour right with the line extending most of the way round the atrium. It will be easier to change as has been said but is this idea prudent? The only tricky bit in my opinion is long shore excursions and getting back late making time tight in terms of getting ready for dinner. On these rare occasions it is sometimes an easier option to check out the upgrade restaurants on the relevant night/s and move your dining time back that night/s for a small fee.
