Want to provide unique cultural immersion for us non-Europeans? How about picking up the broadcast of the biggest singing competition in the world?

 

Would certainly get us in the mood for the stop in Stockholm, home of the ABBA museum dedicated to perhaps the most famous Eurovision winners in 60 years of competition.

 

That is not to slight Celine Dion but we are not cruising to Switzerland, which she represented.

 

 

P.S. I know this topic might belong under a number of Roll Calls, but I'm not certain Viking Cruises is reading all of the maiden voyage variations.

Indeed it would be great homework for the US based cruisers to study Eurovision, and remember that Celine Dion not only represented Switzerland but actually won the contest back in 1988.
