Florence on Your Own-Tourist info

If you are doing Florence on your own, it is worth emailing their tourism office to request info to be mailed to you....they are very quick to respond. I requested a city map and it arrived within about 10 days of when I sent the email. They also included a chart listing Museums and Churches with opening days, hours and entrance fees.

The Map is about 11 x 15" - easy to read and even incudes WC locations.

It will be one less thing to take care of during my short day in Florence :)

Thanks a million!!! My mom and I are going to Florence and it would be great to get the map and hours of the museums, etc... We've been there twice but would like to do our own thing and not be rushed. It was really nice of you to let everybody know this helpful information.
