Besides Stuart Cove's...any other local providers that you can recommend?

Bahama divers is a good outfit. They go out on the North side of the island. Around Sandy Cay and Rose Island, as opposed to Stuart Cove, which goes to the South/ South western reefs and wrecks. Either would be fine for snorkeling.

Bahama Divers does NOT do a shark snorkel.

R u referring to the Barefoot Tours??? Yes.. they are a fun snorkeling trip, but rarely have a timeline that is good for cruisers.

 

Of the two others.. I prefer Stuart Cove, but this sometimes requires a longer stay in port, so ... in that case.. Bahama Divers would do fine.
