Emerald - Types Casino Games

Hello,

I looked through the message boards and didn't find what I was looking for. I'm on the Emerald out of Houston next week and I wanted to know what kind of table games and video poker they have onboard.

If they have blackjack does anyone know the rules or if auto shufflers are used?

Craps - do they have a table?

Video Poker - Do they have that and the types of games (Jacks or Better, Deuces Wild and so).

Any other table games beyond what I posted above.

Thank you very much for your help! :)

Sorry I don't have first hand knowledge so I cant help to your specific question, but you might ask your questions under the "Casino" conversation category. There seem to be some very experienced casino/cruisers. I've found it very helpful in the past. Good Luck.

I just got off the Emerald. They have a craps table, which was very active on my sailing. They also have video poker machines that have multiple options like jacks or better, double bonus poker and such. There was roulette, blackjack and a poker pro table. There were a bunch of other tables, two large rows, which is more than I recall on other ships.

I just got off yesterday. Cards were hand shuffled, with a manual shoe (not electronic).

They have 1 craps table and 2 roulette.

Did not see the rules for the blackjack though.

Nope...not right. The cards are only hand shuffled for the "fun" blackjack(the game with no queens) All other blackjack tables used constant shuffler machines with each hand fed back into the machine as soon as the hand is over. Carribbean stud is hand dealt. I dont remember if the 3 card is hand dealt, but I believe it is. I also think the let it Ride is hand dealt.

There is a craps table and Roulette and electronic texas Hold em table. The poker machines have 6 or so games and there are many of them.

......and like in all casinos....someone is winning....just not you

Good luck

Doug

Don't expect much and you will not be unhappy. The slot machines seem to be from the mid 90's at best....a few blackjack tables etc. VERY SMALL casino on ALL the ships. If your thinking Vegas better think again. I did see something new on our last trip which was a "Texas hold-um" table.
