mcgratru Posted April 6, 2015 #1 Share Posted April 6, 2015 We are doing RT on Crown out of Seattle. Have post cruise excursion booked but will need to get a hotel room afterwards as we are travelling with seniors who will need a rest before our 11 pm flight....so basically looking for a place to nap, freshen up etc from about 2:00 pm-9:00 pm. Hotel rooms in Seattle seem either stupidly expensive for basic chain hotels or cheap and questionabe....any advice would be appreciated.
mapleleaves Posted April 6, 2015 #2 Share Posted April 6, 2015 since you're flying out of SeaTac, look at hotels around the airport instead of downtown. SeaTac hotels are much cheaper than downtown and all the major chains are represented.
VibeGuy Posted April 6, 2015 #3 Share Posted April 6, 2015 Also consider Tukwila/Southcenter as an additional area to look - it's one exit from the airport off Hwy 518/I-405 and there are a number of chain options there that tend to have reasonable rates on Saturday nights and offer airport shuttle services. Rare martincath Posted April 7, 2015 #4 Share Posted April 7, 2015 If it's literally just somewhere comfy for naps, refreshments, even a shower - consider a lounge at the airport pre-flight. For example Alaska sell one-day passes to their 'boardroom' for $45 a person and are open until 10:30pm.
