Are Wasabi & Noodle Bar Open for Lunch Embarkment Day?

Just curious... we LOVE Japanese/Asian food of any kind and thought it would be a nice way to start out the cruise if we could go for lunch on the first day. We'll be on the Breakaway.

AFAIK, not currently or at least NOT when we sailed late last month (March 2015)

 

Our BA recommendations - since you are boarding the gangways via deck 7, walk down one deck to 6 & head for the MDR, it should open for lunch service at 12 noon for embarkation day - it's more civilized and you get served, avoid the buffet lines (which crew members positioned near the stairs & elevators by the 2 gangways used will try to "steer" almost everyone to.

 

Staterooms are generally ready by 1 PM but if you are close enough, you can drop off any carry-ons first & then go enjoy lunch.
