paul929207 Posted April 9, 2015 #2 Share Posted April 9, 2015 Not sure what you are asking. Yes, HK is hot and humid and rainy in July
citygirl2 Posted April 9, 2015 Author #3 Share Posted April 9, 2015 Sorry for the shorthand. Yes, I'm trying to decide on a cruise in July. My husband enjoys sitting at the pool on sea days. Is the weather in HK, Korea, Japan too rainy & scorching hot to enjoy the pool and ports properly?

The humidity in HK will make you feel like you need a shower every 1/2 hour. The smog will be INTENSE in HK. Whether it rains or not (it probably will) is up in the air. I travel to Asia frequently for business. Have been there every month except a couple in early summer. Am NOT going again to China/Hong Kong/Vietnam ever again during the summer. Just a plain miserable experience, IMHO. Japan will be humid and pretty warm (high 80's) and I have only been to Korea once, so can't advise. Please be aware that a lot of Japanese locals travel during July and early August due to their school year timing, so some spots of interest may be very crowded.
