Suggestions needed!

I would start by reading what others have posted on these particular ports in the Caribbean board under Ports of Call. See if you can find your answers by reading what others discuss. Anything you can't find answered will get more responses by posting questions on those port discussion boards.

You can find the board here:

Good luck!

Looking for hints or suggestions on either excursions or ideas for port stops in Falmouth Jamaica, Cozumel and Grand Caymans. We have not been to these ports before. Thanks

I just did these ports on March 17th, 18th, and 19th and here is what I did:

Falmouth - Booked with Javia Shaw at http://www.knowjamaica.com/en/ for a private tour. I went to Dunn River Falls, Blue Hole, Scotchies, Columbus Park, Downtown Ocho Rios. Well worth the money and being able to do whatever I wanted to do.

Grand Cayman - Did the Rays, Reef, and Rum Point tour with http://www.nativewaywatersports.com/ - Awesome time! They have other tours too but I cannot recommend this one enough.

Cozumel - Cozumel Bar Hop - Take a trip to the east side - http://www.cozumelbarhop.com/

If bar hopping isn't your thing you can check out one of the all inclusives for a beach day. Consensus picks are http://www.cozumelnachicocom.com/ and http://www.mrsanchos.com/

Hope this helps

You have given absolutely no idea of what interests you, so it's hard to offer suggestions. That being said, it's probably best that you do what mamafish suggested and read up on what others have posted.

Hum, for Cayman the Stingray City trip is really cool. Or for a beach day there's Seven Mile Beach.

In Jamica the Falls are worth seeing.

Cozumel if you don't mind a long excursion the Tulum ruins are worth the trip. It takes about seven hours though...

Did it last March 2014.

Falmouth; absolutely nothing there, so recommend some type of tour

GC: took city bus to almost the end of 7 mile beach and walked back. Delightful.

Cozumel: have been about 7 times as cruises out of Galveston always stop there. Tulum great, renting a scooters and driving island is OK but roads are very bumpy, market and cemetery are interesting.

Our very favorite excursion to date and one worth every single cent was the Passion Island by Twister Boat in Cozumel. You can also book the excursion by a larger, calmer boat..... Catamaran or Ferryboat type I believe. It is an all inclusive beach day that included lunch, cocktails or pop and use of the water toys etc..... The beaches were beautiful and they somewhat limit the amount of guests to the island so it was not gosh-awful crowded.

I would do this excursion again in a heartbeat. I stuck to Diet Coke but others in our group got their money's worth in Margaritas etc..... The food was very good and fresh and the staff went above and beyond to make you feel welcome.

I do believe that you must book this excursion with Carnival and you would probably want to as well. Due to choppy water conditions, the Twister boats were late getting back to port. The ship waited for us as it was a Carnival excursion. They pulled up anchor as soon as we boarded..... so a heads-up on that.

Wishing you a great cruise !!!!

I suggest USS Kittiwake snorel in Grand Cayman. It was fantastic. Avoid horseback riding in Cozumel, it sucked. We did love the cooking class, but they got rid of that. We enjoy just going to paradise beach now in Cozumel.
