emen822 Posted April 13, 2015 #1 Share Posted April 13, 2015 Here is a little background: I've been eyeing up a cruise for February 2016 for me and my two sisters. This weekend I noticed the promo and decided to price it out. It was coming out to about $120 less per person so I put a cabin on hold. We decided to use a nextcruise certificate that we had from a few years back and I then spent 45 minutes on the phone trying to get this booked. I released my hold to get the same cabin and he was able to get the same one. He priced it out much higher and when I told him about the promos, he checked to make sure it was a qualifying sailing and it was. Checked with resolutions and they said it would take 2-3 business days to get this resolved, which is fine except that the promo ends in 2 days. I asked if the problem was the next cruise or the promo and he said it was the promo? So right now I have a reservation using my next cruise with the wrong amount. Does this sound right or should I give a call to see if I can get it clarified? Also, I still have the number written down which was the reservation I released earlier today to get the same cabin. That is my only hope getting the same price since I just priced it a few minutes ago, and it's a little bit higher. Is that even possible for them to access an old hold? Sorry for the rant .. just wanted to give some background. :) Any advice? Thanks in advance? Mary
