Thanks so much for taking the time to post your review. I have read both of your Splendor reviews. I'm leaving in 10 days, from Norfolk, on the Splendor.

We have been to Half Moon Cay and it was great looking at your photos. Brings back a lot of memories. I sighed when I read your sign "last tender @ 4pm". :(

We having a family trip on the Pride in January. Welcome back and again, thanks for the great review and photos!

Can't wait to see what you did in Freeport.

ok so this time around me and my girls have fttf and also a cabana booked.. better to get onto shore with fttf I am assuming? I DO NOT want to do the 5 mile road march from the lounge again!!! lol....

Good to see you!! Yes, you will be on the same first tender. Better to board from Guest Services than meet in the aft lounge!!

thank you!... and yes myself along with my glory gals crew will be hanging out at the rum runner bar and take last possible tender back to the ship... while sippin on a lil something.. hehehe... 14 days to go!!

Patti and Ryan went into Senor Frog’s, which was rapidly filling up with “thirsty” cruisers, and got a table for three. They ordered up their first round…..

Now that Ryan is 18, it is legal for him to drink in the Bahamas. Patti and I looked forward to having a few drinks with him in a “controlled environment” lol. We had wanted to do the same thing with Kevin last year on the Liberty, but sadly, we never got the chance. I had a strong feeling that he was hanging out with us today. Ryan and I share our first drink together…..

We had our “lunch”, which consisted mainly of chicken tenders and nachos. Patti left us to head back to the ship. Ryan and I still had about a half hour of quality time together!!

Did you need anything other than you SS card to go through the security check at Freeport? I read another review where the guard requested to see a photo ID, anything like that happen to you?

 

To be honest, I don't remember if they asked for a photo ID. Remember, we had just spent two hours at Senor Frog's :D That being said, we always carry some sort of photo ID when we leave the ship in any port, Except HMC or LSC.

Just feels to me like Kevin was there with you guys too....I am caught up to here now and having a wonderful time reading your review...I really "go" on these trips with friends made here....well my dad just called as I was typing...wants to take a ride to a hot springs and have wine and a burger....mind you he asked me yelling and out of sorts...but I am glad he is here...God bless...still waiting for rest of the story...Sarah

We hung out in the cabin until it was time for the VIFP party in the Taj Mahal Show Lounge. The party was not that crowded, so there were plenty of drinks and finger foods available for those that attended. I was not surprised that it wasn’t crowded as it seemed to me, that there were a lot of new cruisers, or almost new cruisers on board this week. Anytime I was at a bar, or in the casino, I saw many, many blue and red S&S cards, as opposed to gold or platinum. I know that most seasoned cruisers avoid the spring break cruises like the plague, but having a wife who is a teacher, and a son who is a student, dictates that we sail at peak times. Great review! HMC and Grand Turk are just awesome beach days!

Loving that the Pride has all the upgrades now. May have to check into this itinerary!
