Sparky2 Posted April 14, 2015 #2 Share Posted April 14, 2015 Does the Carnival Players Club offer any perks anymore.....such as the welcome aboard gift baskets...chocolate covered strawberries, wine...etc? We received a basket for the last 4 years. When I emailed for our January B2B, we received an email back saying we didn't qualify. Our 2014 B2B supposedly is calculated by Players Club as a 14 day cruise. I will email them again before our 2016 B2B, but probably will also not qualify. We are in the casino quite a big, too. However, the way we play the slots we do come home with some of our winnings.
winddawn Posted April 14, 2015 #3 Share Posted April 14, 2015 Does the Carnival Players Club offer any perks anymore.....such as the welcome aboard gift baskets...chocolate covered strawberries, wine...etc? They do offer some perks such as casino cash, chocolate covered strawberries, and wine. And of course the Drinks on Us card after you reach enough points on one sailing. theriac Posted April 14, 2015 #5 Share Posted April 14, 2015 When you email them, what do you even say? Do you include your VIFP number, booking number or anything else I'm not thinking of?
Joker440 Posted April 14, 2015 #6 Share Posted April 14, 2015 I just returned from the 4/4-4/11 sailing of the Miracle. I accrued 4001 points during the cruise. For that, I received cookies in my room, a bottle of wine at dinner, and a free cruise certificate.

I just got an email stating that we were not eligible for any perks however I'm sure we played more on our last cruise than prior ones. And we have gotten comps on our last six cruises! MURCOTT Posted April 14, 2015 #9 Share Posted April 14, 2015 What is the email for the players club? casino@carnival.com My husband will receive $50 cash at the cashier's Cage once on board. When you write to ask if you have earned anything mention the ship name, sail date and booking # of your last cruise. I also tell them the name, date and booking # for the upcoming cruise. Of course your name and VIFP # as well.
theriac Posted April 14, 2015 #10 Share Posted April 14, 2015 Thanks, I spent a lot of time playing roulette, fortunately with winnings, and have been receiving a lot of casino offers lately so I wanted to see how people go about contact and what information is given. I appreciate your response and hopefully can get some perks for my upcoming cruises.
RaiderCruiser Posted April 14, 2015 #11 Share Posted April 14, 2015 In addition to the above, we were offered dinner two nights in the specialty restaurant of our choice.
mass02703 Posted April 16, 2015 Author #12 Share Posted April 16, 2015 Thank you for all of your responses. On each of our previous cruises I have always called and received some kind of gift in our room upon boarding.....casino cash, gift certificates for pictures, stuffed animals (supposing because they knew that we had children in the room), chocolate covered strawberries with wine, and gift baskets. I have read on other posts that they have really cut back (or possibly stopped) with the gifts in the room. I am cruising on a pack and play offer and do believe that I have $75 casino cash coming. I will give them a call......can't hurt!
s407o Posted April 16, 2015 #13 Share Posted April 16, 2015 I was told because I was on a pack and play offer that I would not get the casino cash. I would have had to book the casino rate or another rate. But since I got the cruise with the pay 100 get 100 OBC no double dipping.
mass02703 Posted April 16, 2015 Author #14 Share Posted April 16, 2015 Thank you s407o. I bet that may be the case with me as well. I received a coupon in the mail saying that I would received $75 if I booked within a certain time frame and traveled within a certain time frame. Although my cruise fits the criteria, they may refuse to give it to me considering I am booked using Pack and Play. I figure that I will bring the certificate anyway, worth a try. mass02703 Posted May 12, 2015 Author #15 Share Posted May 12, 2015 UPDATE PRIOR TO CRUISING: I emailed Players Club and they told me that because I was sailing on the Pack and Play that I would not be given any other perks upon arrival but possibly based on play. UPDATE POST CRUISE: I did not receive any gifts in my room upon arrival. I was able to use my $75 credit in the casino, even though I was on a Pack and Play offer. I did play quite a bit and received my free drink card (after 1000 points), chocolate covered strawberries, a bottle of wine at dinner, and a free cruise certificate. *****I realize none of these items were free.....I paid for them ALL and some!!!!
