Rome excursion

Hi Everyone

We will be on the Allure on the 24 May and looking to book an excursion with Royal Caribbean in Rome we where thinking of the private train and doing our own thing s as we have been there before . Does any one know what time these excursion start at ( can't see any time on the website )because i want to book my tickets for the Vatican museum and you have to book a time for these tickets

We are looking to do the same excursion when we are onboard the Sept 20th sailing. If you start adding it to your cart it will come up with the time, mine says 8.10am but I don't know what time it arrives in Rome. I went by train last year and I think it was about 1.5 hours from the port each way. It might be worth giving RCI a ring to check.

 

Please post when you get back to let us know how it actually works out.

We actually showed up at the Vatican entrance an hour and a half before our reservation time and they didn't care. What made the difference was people without reservations had a block long line and we just were able to walk in through a different door.
