Found this interesting bit on Netscape....might come in handy when planning a cruise for next fall...........

Really Odd Fact About September 10 For as long as such records have been kept, there has always been a named Atlantic hurricane active on September 10. And this year is no different thanks to Ophelia, which is on a circuitous, looping path spinning in the ocean east of Florida, as well as Maria and Nate. The Atlantic hurricane season runs from June 1 to November 30. Even though September 1 is the exact midpoint, September 10 is considered the true midpoint in the peak storm formation cycle, reports The Associated Press

Of course since I leave for my cruise tomorrow and it leaves on the 11th...

I hear you loud and clear, we also leave today and are on the Mariner Sept 11/05.

Have a great cruise.

Thanks for sharing this trivia fact on Sept 10th. This is way to much information since we leave in about 1 1/2 hours.
