Question for Cruisin Linda

Recommended Posts

About £94 on the train to Southampton Central - don't know which of the 3 stations is nearest the port - so would not want too much luggage. Might need a taxi from there to the port, don't know Southampton at all. Wish there was a port nearer the Midlands.

Southampton Central is the train station nearest the port. You can see where you need to go from there but it's not very practical dragging cases that far especially as some of the berth entrances involve you walking much further than if you could get direct access to the terminal. A taxi ride is the best option imo - about £5/7?

Thanks. We were thinking about trying a P and O mini cruise in December to try them, but looks like we have to add around £100 to the fare to get there. Will check up late summer what is on offer ex UK. May try Fred, but want to give them both a go.
