Canaries/lisbon/la coruna with a baby - port activity ideas?

We will be on ventura N516 in June with an 8 year old and 8 month old.

 

Any recommendations of things to do in these ports? Anything to be aware of with a baby? We aren't going on any p&o excursions as we won't have a suitable car seat for the coach. Activities need to be pushchair friendly. Thanks! :)

If you dock at the Jardim de Tabacao (Tobacco dock), then it's a very short walk into central Lisbon and the sights. Within 10 minutes walk of the berth is a big square (you'll see it from the ship - Praca Comercio?), if you walk up the main shopping street which leads right out of it, there is an interactive museum very suitable for children off to one side. We didn't go there, but we talked to some people on the ship with children younger than ours who did and they said it was very good. Also it was open on the day (Monday, Tuesday?) that much of Lisbon is closed. Sorry can't remember the museum's name but I'm sure if you Google "interactive museum" something will come up. It also had aircon, so nice and cool for your children if it's hot.

I know there is an aquarium at La Coruna but I can't remember how far it is from the port, might need a taxi.

Sorry Raych C. I looked it up and it's the interactive science museum, but it is quite a way from the port. You would need to either get the Metro (Oriente stop) or a taxi. However it does have the advantage that the aquarium and a park are close by, so quite a bit for your 8-year old to see. The museum is closed on Mondays.
