the_lovely_voyage Posted April 26, 2015 #1 Share Posted April 26, 2015 As a disclaimer, I did do a search on the NCL boards and looked on the website to try to clarify this issue before I asked, but I am confused about the wording of something. A few times in the FAQ on NCL's site under gift cards, it says stuff like: Q: How many Gift Cards can be used for each purchase? A: Up to 3 Gift Cards can be used for each Norwegian purchase. or: A customer can use up to 3 Gift Cards in one transaction. I might be looking way too into this, but what qualifies as a "purchase" or "transaction"? To me, my entire outstanding bill is one whole purchase/transaction. If I put 3 gift cards towards my outstanding balance online (and paid the rest on my credit card) and then tried to use another gift card onboard for gratuity payment or a specialty restaurant, would I be able to? I hope that isn't too muddy or unclear. Really what I want to know is what constitutes a purchase or transaction and would I actually be able to apply more than 3 gift cards to my one cruise reservation?
