Leo Answers Posted April 26, 2015 #2 Share Posted April 26, 2015 No it is not. Sun sets about 18:00/18:15 You will have at least 3 hour with daylight.
rjrpar Posted April 27, 2015 #3 Share Posted April 27, 2015 Not too late but things are winding down by the time you arrive at 2:30. I would not do a beach on that schedule.
tattoos Posted May 21, 2015 #4 Share Posted May 21, 2015 On our recent Conquest cruise, we arrived at 1:00 p.m. in Curacao. We walked off the ship around !:30 p.m. and walked to the taxi stand. We took a shared taxi to Sea Aquarium Beach (very short ride), spent a couple of hours there working on our tan, drinking, and swimming. The taxi ride was $5/person (we had 4 people in our van). If there are only two people in the taxi, I think the going rate is $20/car load. Once you arrive at the beach, there is a two story shopping area, lots of restaurants and bars, a swimming pool, plenty of loungers, etc. They will charge you $3.50/person to access the beach and $3/person for a lounger. We returned to the ship around 5:00 p.m., ran up to our stateroom, showered and changed and walked to the RIF Fort where there are lots of restaurants, bars, and shops open late. The pontoon bridge is all lit up at night and so is the town, beautiful.
