Transfer Transportation

hi everyone,

My husband and I will be sailing on the Imagination Sunday June 7. I am comparing costs of a transfer from Los Angeles airport to Long Beach cruise terminal.

Carnival's website states: 30/person one way ... so $60.00 total for us

I also went to this website .... taxifarefinder.com and it gave me 83.87 from the airport to terminal.

I thought the taxis had a flat rate, maybe I did something wrong.

Because I thought I read somewhere on the board that taxis were cheaper.

Has anyone recently cruise on the Imagination (port long beach)

if so what transportation did you use from LAX to the cruise terminal

and what was the cost.

Also feel free to recommend any other transportation.

thanking everyone in advance.... Beverly

Hi there

Supershuttle has service from LAX to the cruiseport and return. I believe it costs $17 pp. each way on a shared ride. You can usually find a discount code online if you google it.

While I have seen mixed reviews for the company, we have always had good service with this company from a few different airports/cruiseports.

have a great cruise

Flat rate is Long Beach TO LAX - $68.

Remember taxifarefinder estimates high. Probably in the $75 range.

Check Super Shuttle or PrimeTime at $17/pp shared ride (you'll get a tour of LA;) or

Execucar around $60. It's the black car service of SuperShuttle

When are you arriving? It does make a huge difference.

For the return there will be many shuttles and taxis available.

flight lands at 10:30am on June 7 at LAX.

I won't need the return transfer to LAX. I have family members that will be joining us on the cruise.

They are driving in from Arizona, and we will be heading back to their house once we get off the ship.

thanks everyone

We've used Supershuttle's shared ride and been very happy with them, but we fly in the day before. Since you're flying in the day of the cruise you might want to take the ship's transfers, just to be sure you're there on time.

As SadieN said, you'll get a "tour" of LA with Supershuttle.

Have a wonderful cruise!
