Gardeneroflove Posted April 26, 2015 #3 Share Posted April 26, 2015 Faster to the Fun guests will board after our VIFP Club Platinum & Diamond Guests. Then why are the P & D folks complaining?
cruizinisthebest Posted April 26, 2015 #4 Share Posted April 26, 2015 Faster to the Fun guests will board after our VIFP Club Platinum & Diamond Guests. Then why are the P & D folks complaining? The OP is referring to the guest services line as a perk of FTTF. Not boarding.
kteachcruiser52 Posted April 27, 2015 #5 Share Posted April 27, 2015 We no longer need FTTF, but we bought it 3 times before we were platinum. The GS line for priority always said Diamond, Platinum, and FTTF. We used this line.
Rudyard Posted April 27, 2015 #6 Share Posted April 27, 2015 Then why are the P & D folks complaining? Because the FTTF people are playing in their sandbox

WPTNGirl Posted April 27, 2015 #8 Share Posted April 27, 2015 I just checked my November cruise and even though it shows the new higher price, the guest services line is still included.

Because they don't always keep Plat/Dia. and FTTF separate.
Out to sea! Posted April 27, 2015 #11 Share Posted April 27, 2015 (edited) Because some feel they are being cheated somehow. Wonder how many of those Plats who feel cheated made Plat by taking 10x3 night cruises? Edited April 27, 2015 by Out to sea!
cruizinisthebest Posted April 27, 2015 #12 Share Posted April 27, 2015 Never understood why people care how folks got to platinum. Are you looked at as a less than shiny member of the club if you took lots of short trips versus a handful of long ones? The math still adds up to 75 days. I also don't care about why someone buys FTTF and I hope they enjoy it since they spend their hard earned cash on it. I'm just simply wondering how many of the Plats who get their panties tied in a wad over FTTF got their Platinum status by taking a boatload (pun intended) of 3 day cruises to get the status (back when it was just 10 cruises immaterial of the number of nights). I would think that the Plats who got their status by taking 10x7 night cruises might would get their panties in a wad because some people "cheated" by taking only 3 night cruises. And I do believe most of the Plats around today made their status under the old rules versus the new number of nights rules.
