alpha0meqa Posted April 28, 2015 #1 Share Posted April 28, 2015 Hello all, I was wondering how much this usually costs for most people. I see a half day(Not sure how they can tell how long you're allowed to stay) is 146$ with Carnival. Is there a cheaper option out there? I see some mentioning comfort inn hotel that for a 1 night stay gets you free passes to atlantis. But thats more expensive than the 146$. I've been to Atlantis via Cruise before and I swear I don't remember paying that much but maybe I did. Does the price get cheaper once on the boat? Or any other options?? TravelScholar Posted April 28, 2015 #2 Share Posted April 28, 2015 (edited) You can purchase directly at Atlantis, based on availability. Just grab a taxi at the port. I don't remember the Aquaventure pricing, but access to the aquariums was about $30 per person less than Carnival's excursion price. Add the cost of taxi back in and my wife and I still saved about $40 between the two of us. Edited to add: booking directly at Atlantis also removes the time constraint of being on scheduled transportation; you can stay at your own pace and just grab a taxi when you're ready to head back to the ship. mjkacmom Posted April 29, 2015 #3 Share Posted April 29, 2015 How long is your ship at the port? Dates? Most of the year, the slides, pools, and beaches close at 5. You can buy passes at Atlantis during non-peak times for around $140 pp.
