I wish they would have included it on the Sunshine. Tandoor was my favorite spot for lunch on the Breeze, and it was never crowded. The grilled chicken and fish were very good, and the sides and salads were always fresh!!!

This was from a few years ago. Besides the menu below (changes daily), the everyday items included a limited salad bar, naan and different chutneys. I really liked to put the pineapple chutney over ice cream.

Which ships are these on? Will it be on the Vista?

here's a sample menu from carnival:

and this is the description from carnival:

The aromatic delight of Indian food is unmistakable. Cooked at over 1000 degrees in our traditional clay oven, Tandoor cooks up a wide variety of signature Indian delights that are uniquely spiced, yet delicately flavored. Enjoy tandoori chicken or fish with cumin pilaf, succulent beef kebabs, or dip hot naan bread into sweet chutney, all straight from the tandoor. Here, you’ll always find an arousing array of vegetarian options made from the freshest produce. Add in some masterfully seasoned side dishes and your first bite will transport you straight to the heart of India.

I wish they had this on more ships. I enjoyed it on the Freedom in 2010, but really missed it last November. They took it away to make room for either Guy's or Blue Iguana. Really missed it.:(

Psyched to see this on the Splendor...it will be the first ship I've been on that has this, and I love Indian food. Sailing in 68 days!

I sailed the Splendor last May and never saw this!! I am going again end of June and can't wait to try it. I understand its by the aft pool? Is this correct?

The Tandoor food on Splendor is very good. I especially like the lentil and vegetable dishes. I think the Tandoor food is better than the Indian dishes offered in the MDR. You'll enjoy it.

Thanks everyone-I can't believe I didn't see it last trip!

It is usually only open from noon to 2pm though, so you just may not have passed by at lunch time. Give it a try next time:)

Thanks I definitely will! I also never "found" the rotisserie LOL

Hi Barbara rotisserie is upstairs, steps near the dessert area. Ed and I always found seats upstairs when it was crowded downstairs. Remember us from the Gem:) We are cruising the Splendor the beginning of June on a Premier Casino Cruise.[Enjoy your cruise.
