Beachgirl85 Posted April 30, 2015 #1 Share Posted April 30, 2015 I have a three year old and trying to decide between sapphire ( so hubby can snorkel a bit) or Megan's bay? Any advice?
beautifulbill Posted April 30, 2015 #2 Share Posted April 30, 2015 Sapphire is not rocky except in a few places so entry and exit is not a problem. Sapphire has good snorkeling but the waters can be rougher so it depends on how your 3 year old will handle the waves. Magens is not rocky and is usually very calm but there is no snorkeling to speak of.
blue_water Posted May 6, 2015 #3 Share Posted May 6, 2015 Bill, if the chance of rougher water is a concern for the OP Secret Harbor would be a good second choice would it not? That doesn't offer the abundant shade like Sapphire and is smaller, but is better protected and also offers snorkeling.
beautifulbill Posted May 6, 2015 #4 Share Posted May 6, 2015 Yes Secret Harbor would be calm and has good snorkeling. I would check on the water quality though as I saw they had a problem recently.
