terry2 Posted May 12, 2015 #5 Share Posted May 12, 2015 Well, unless things have changed since last year - there are no tea or coffee making facilities in the cabins on Black Watch. Coffee and hot water for tea are available for you to help yourself in the Braemar lounge.

They will often hide the tray away in a cupboard somewhere, but it will be there.
Coravel Posted May 13, 2015 #8 Share Posted May 13, 2015 If you can't find it then ask a member of the cabin staff. They are usually only too pleased to help.

Do you need to use bottled water to make tea or coffee or is the water ok from the tap in the bathroom, cheers Gary....

I do not understand this comment as all of Fred's cabins have had tea and coffee making facilities (kettle, tea bags instant coffee sachets and small milks) for quite a few years now. I think you may have mistaken a ship for another company. There are also tea and coffee stations at a set point on each ship, but that is an addition to what is available in the cabins. Parsman Posted December 14, 2017 #13 Share Posted December 14, 2017 All the ship's in the FOCL have tea/coffee making facilities in all the cabins. These are topped up twice daily. In the dim and distant past there used to be biscuits on each tray but that was a casualty of cost cutting.
Coravel Posted December 14, 2017 #14 Share Posted December 14, 2017 I agree with the above posters. We have always had coffee/teamaking facilities in the Olsen cabins. We prefer Earl Grey and it's always possible to pick up extra tea bags/milk sachets from the tea/coffee station if you run out.
