Rome-Civitavecchia transport on Oct. 2 & 9

Having just discovered how expensive limo or taxi service is Rome to/from Civitavecchia, my wife and I would love to share a taxi or van. Anyone else on the Magica sailing of October 2nd coming from Rome?

We are sailing on the Magica on September 25 and when we booked they asked us if we wanted transfers. Costa offers transfers to and from the airport and port for $35 per person. We were planning on taking the train and then a taxi to the port. After we added it all up we realized the transfer saved us some extra cash.:) Just another option for you. Have a great cruise...

Thanks for the suggestion about transfers -- a good one. $30 each to/from the Leonardo da Vinci Airport. Ours is more expensive and complicated, because we need to/from downtown Rome, but we'll figure it out! Thanks again for the suggestion and hope your cruise is great too!:)
