Ice in the umbrella drinks???

Hi Gigglerider. As you know the ice is made from the water that we've all been told not to drink. I don't know what your specific concern is - "Montezuma's revenge" or hepatitis. If it's hepatitis, I would get the Twinrix shots (I had these - I had 3 shots over 3 months - the last shot being a booster). If it's the other, there is a drug on the market that is supposed to help with traveller's diarrhea, but I cannot think of the name at the moment. You could ask your doctor about it. Hope this helps.

All water served in Cozumel restaurants is purified. All ice is made from purified water. Cozumel depends on the tourist industry. The last thing we want to do is make you sick. Cozumel is also an island of repeat business. The number of people who return year after year is astounding! The people here understand the value of that and will do everything they can to make your stay as wonderful as possible. We want you BACK!

Enjoy all the frozen concoctions you can handle!
