I am booked for this room at the end of July. I have been curious if the bar upstairs can be noisy late at night. Hopefully someone who has stayed in there will reply, if not I will let you know how everything goes with my trip.

Bumping up hunting for recent info

Hello there,

 

We sailed the Sunshine in April 2014 with a large group, we had the entire corner of the ship on deck 8 including this room. DW and I had 8333 corner

9C Our daughters (adults) had 8339 and no one complained about the Havana bar above, however I have read some here.

 

This trip we are on deck 5 in an 8M extended balcony

I just stayed in this Cabin and I have mixed feelings about it. The balcony was amazing and the view was amazing! I did not feel that it was worth the extra cost from a regular balcony. This specific room is directly under the Havana Bar where they set up the instruments for the band. You hear everything until they stop playing around 12am. Luckily we were only in the cabin before 12am on this first night. The room is the same as all the other balcony cabins. During a rough sea day it was definitely worst in the rear. We will stay in a mid ship balcony next trip.
