bleacher Posted May 11, 2015 #1 Share Posted May 11, 2015 Plan Mediterranean cruise Sep 1. I know there are at least two formal nights. But what can you wear to dinner on non formal nights? Would jeans or khakis be appropriate? Any help? Thank you.
Boytjie Posted May 11, 2015 #2 Share Posted May 11, 2015 You will get many opinions as to what people think is acceptable or not but according to the HAL dress code both are fine on non-formal nights.
sppunk Posted May 11, 2015 #3 Share Posted May 11, 2015 Jeans and khakis are entirely appropriate and well within the dress suggestion for non-formal nights.
Krazy Kruizers Posted May 11, 2015 #4 Share Posted May 11, 2015 Please don't wear jeans with holes in them. Your title of this thread "dining options on formal nights" but you didn't ask anything about them.
take us away Posted May 11, 2015 #5 Share Posted May 11, 2015 (edited) Have found Med cruises have people that tend to dress up a bit more than Caribbean or Alaskan cruises. Many Europeans are used to dressing for dinner. Really nice jeans or khakis are definitely appropriate with a nice shirt (collared for men). Good luck with your cruise planning. Smooth sailing, Rod HALresponse.pdf
