How to upgrade with CAS cruise

This is my first cruise and booked with CAS. I was given an inside cabin but decided to upgrade to an ocean view. I was looking today and saw the price of a balcony room is only $50 more than an ocean view now. Can I call CAS and upgrade for only $50 or how does that work?

They have an upgrade price list associated with your offer, call and find out what it would cost to get a balcony. The $50 you saw doesn't really have an impact on your price.

 

I asked this question recently and was given that response by CAS. I was hoping for a price drop for my balcony upgrade.

I would give them a call and ask what it would cost to upgrade to a balcony. It might be $50 or it might be more or less, it depends on what they can do.

On most of the upgrades we have done, it has been close to the difference in price you see on the website.

 

After final payment is due to everyone else, and they do last minute sales, this usually is not the same.
