njcruisebunny Posted May 14, 2015 #1 Share Posted May 14, 2015 (edited) Any chance the Hockey Games will be at the sports bar? Rangers won last night and are advancing. First question out of DH mouth this morning was if the games would be at the sports bars. We'll be on the Indy this Sunday. Clarea Posted May 14, 2015 #2 Share Posted May 14, 2015 Possible. Check the On Air Club, deck 3, aft.
greeneyedbandit Posted May 14, 2015 #3 Share Posted May 14, 2015 Unlikely....I'm a huge Blackhawks fan and I am going to have to get an internet package and stream the games next week. On Air would be the place to see it, but RCI only shows ESPN as far as I am aware, and NBC has the american rights to the NHL. There may be an off chance that they pick up some satellite feed, but I wouldn't count on it.
henchgt Posted May 14, 2015 #4 Share Posted May 14, 2015 I will say doubtful as NHL has exclusive rights with NBC and Royal does not. As clarea said, try on air club or try the sports bar/wine bar across from the english pub on deck 5. GO HAWKS!!!
Rare Smitty815 Posted May 14, 2015 #5 Share Posted May 14, 2015 Not sure what ship you are going on, but the Casino had some games on when I was on the Oasis (2015-04-25).
BellaCaps Posted May 14, 2015 #6 Share Posted May 14, 2015 Rangers beat my Caps which makes me sad but I love hockey and will be cruising on Granduer during the Cup Finals. Heard Casino bar may have some games on.
DeadPhish Posted May 14, 2015 #7 Share Posted May 14, 2015 Someone posted a few weeks back that they did in fact have a game on. I dont recall what game, what channel or what ship, so I'm not help at all.

Not likely, but you never know what's been negotiated between the networks, so I'd check with the sports bar each night just in case. ⚡ Go Bolts! ⚡
greeneyedbandit Posted May 14, 2015 #9 Share Posted May 14, 2015 Not sure what ship you are going on, but the Casino had some games on when I was on the Oasis (2015-04-25). If this is true it would be FANTASTIC. I'm on Oasis this Saturday and I don't really trust the "improved" internet connection 100% to stream the games. I guess I'll ask the bartenders of on air and the casino just before game time.
TBone2K Posted May 14, 2015 #10 Share Posted May 14, 2015 I wouldn't count on it, but you never know. I did check the ESPN international schedule and there was no hockey there. If someone else knows what other networks RC carries, it might help us figure out where to look. Since Tampa is still in (boo!), it might increase the chances of people wanting to see the game, at least for cruises out of FL.
pat1975 Posted May 15, 2015 #11 Share Posted May 15, 2015 I was on the Allure in 2013 when the Hawks won the cup. I saw them win on the ipad in the room. Wife brought me beers from the casino. she got the great wife award!
njcruisebunny Posted May 15, 2015 Author #12 Share Posted May 15, 2015 Thank you for your responses. I will tell my DH to check out the OnAir and the sports bar. Thank you--we are on the Indy out of Fort Lauderdale on 5/17.
