There is a 6 hour excursion called "Tropical Delight Catamaran Snorkel and Beach". It's supposed to be for the snorkel enthusiast. Anyone done this one? Is this a booze cruise with loud music? Is there shade on the boat and on the beach? Is the snorkel area and beach crowded? Thanks!

Note that Eli Eco Tour is booked for our cruise.

Someone else asked question on Ports section. Everyone told him how wonderful Eli's Eco tour was. Usually not much info on Port Boards. Ten postings a day is a lot. Booked on Freedom of the Seas for next August. Actually, I am inquiring about this tour for a Celebrity cruise in January 2006. Both Celebrity and RCCL offer this excursion.

For a land tour of this beautiful island I cannot praise http://www.lawrenceofantigua.com enough. Super nice guy and he gives a great tour of his island, is flexible and very, very reasonable. See postings on the Antigua ports board.

We did Lawrence last year. Actually Lawrence was under the weather that day and Christopher filled in for him. Great tour, but we left Antigua at 4pm that day and we were late getting back to the ship. Mostly due to the people on the tour that were dilly dallying. Just make sure if you go to the beach you tell him to come back in enough time to get you back to the ship on time. We had to run to get back onboard in time. Not blaming it on the tour because Christopher showed up on time. It was the group of 7 or 8 that were taking their time when we needed to be on the road back to the ship.

Great tour though.
