Ringaskiddy instead of Cobh

Recommended Posts

We have just received notification that we will be calling at Ringaskiddy not Cobh next Tuesday 19th May.

We hadn't made any plans as I was hoping there was enough to see & do in Cobh for a few hours.

Any advice about Ringaskiddy ?

Thanks in advance

There's nothing really to do at Ringaskiddy except get a bus into Cork. I'd assume the ship will have some kind of shuttle arranged into Cork, so I'd take that.

Cork city centre is about 30 minutes away by car, but by public transport it's about 90 minutes, as the buses stop everywhere and take a circuitous route. buseireann.ie is the national bus website if you want to look it up.
