mojean Posted May 18, 2015 #1 Share Posted May 18, 2015 You can't verify a casino rate offer on there? I almost missed our $120 OBC. Just so happened I logged into Carnival and clicked on my offers and it came up.
vwrestler171 Posted May 18, 2015 #2 Share Posted May 18, 2015 That is why I always log in and check my offers and never go off of the fareviewer.
Scootercruise Posted May 18, 2015 #3 Share Posted May 18, 2015 We don't spend much in the casino, so we don't get any offers for that. However, on our upcoming cruise, our friends that we are going with booked our cabin for a rate that was $200 pp less than my cost. So I guess I'm gonna owe them a few drinks. :)
LSUcajunmom Posted May 18, 2015 #4 Share Posted May 18, 2015 That is why I always log in and check my offers and never go off of the fareviewer. Same here!! Any rate specific to your VIFP # will not show on fareviwer.
ready2cruzagain Posted May 18, 2015 #5 Share Posted May 18, 2015 Also note that Military Rates do not show up on Fareviewer. This is the very reason that I never use the Fareviewer...no VIFP, Casino or Military rates show. I always do a mock booking. .
cruizinisthebest Posted May 18, 2015 #6 Share Posted May 18, 2015 Same here!! Any rate specific to your VIFP # will not show on fareviwer. Sure won't. Nor will military rates. I much prefer doing a mock booking.
jdcml Posted May 18, 2015 #7 Share Posted May 18, 2015 It just occurred to me that it seems silly that you don't get some other type of notification of a rate specific to your past guest number or casino rate. When I was signed up for marketing emails they seemed to come non-stop until I unsubscribed.

Davey Wavey Posted May 18, 2015 #11 Share Posted May 18, 2015 It just occurred to me that it seems silly that you don't get some other type of notification of a rate specific to your past guest number or casino rate. There hasn't been a sale where I didn't receive a mail AND email with the offer, except the letters delivered to my cabin on the last day of a cruise. My PVP has also called for a few of them. I haven't subscribed to anything but I certainly seem to be on someone's list.
