MoCowBell Posted June 1, 2015 #3 Share Posted June 1, 2015 I think the third terminal is just to keep pace with demand. I don't know that they have any firm commitment from a particular cruise line. I hope they address the serious ingress/egress problems they currently have. One lane of traffic to get in and one lane to get out is an untenable situation. Adding a third terminal without a better traffic plan would be madness.
ssb Posted June 1, 2015 Author #4 Share Posted June 1, 2015 (edited) Considering Port is limited by present debt structure in inability to finance future expansion, the odds of not having a prospective cruise line in the fold would be nill. Also therefore spending 100,000 on design would not happen without knowing where the third terminal would be. It will most likely not be located where the two terminals are now. And yes ingress/egress at two present terminals can be difficult with two ships in on same day. Hope there is improvement!
