Port Maps

If you go to the Shopping Talk, they will give you maps there or else pick them up at the Shore Excursions Office. They also usually have them as you as you leave the ship.

If you want to find some on the internet, go into Google, type in the name of the island and you will find them there.

They always hand them out on the gangway when you leave the ship.

I don't know if it's just for Suites, but they always leave them for us in our cabin the night before each port.

Every cabin gets port maps the night before the port of call.:)

Heck, don't the port maps have all the shopping information on them? The whole purpose of giving out the maps is to get the most pax familiar with all the HAL recommended stores so they are ready to spend money. Why would they be handed out only to suite pax?

adamsmark: Yes....:) You are right about that!! Glad I was able to remind you about the Port Maps being left in the cabins. :)

Happy to hear all the cabins get them delivered. Having only been in an "S", I didn't know if it was a suite thing or for all cabins. No reason the stewards shouldn't be leaving them on the bed when they leave the daily program. Good to hear they do!!!

We are sailing on a Caribbean/Panama Canal cruise in March 2006. Does anyone know of a good web site that you can print or download maps of the ports? We will be in Aruba, Panama, Costa Rica and Curacao.

Thanks.

You can print and/or download good maps from here:

http://www.caribbean-on-line.com/maps/

The port maps handed out by the cruise line are ok for shopping, but not much else.

adamsmark.....

I am sorry it wasn't clear I am AGREEING with you that all the shopping/recommended stores info is one of the (maybe the only) reason for passing out the maps.

It was another poster(s) who forgot they were handed out in the cabins.

I normally divide responses when answering more than one poster's comments.

I should have done the same on this thread to avoid confusion I apparently have caused.
