portable fan

Can you bring a portable 12 inch fan for your stateroom? I have a fan that is both battery and/or 12 volt.

I have taken my portable(battery or plug in) fan on all of my Carnival cruises so far and have never had it questioned. My eighth cruise is upcoming.

I took a small fan that uses batteries or electricity on a Carnival cruise 2 years ago. It was confiscated at check in. I now ask for a fan and they bring one to my room.

we have taken 2 small electric fans on at least a dozen cruises on a variety of cruise lines without a problem. I use an extension cord with a splitter and run it under the bed where I plug in both fans. one fan on each nightstand. never had an issue.
