VIFP Offers Question

I'm seeing a special VIFP offer on my Carnival account (discounted "Journeys" sailings), but when I click on details, the page dims and takes on a blue cast. Furthermore, the page is not functional. I can't click on anything. Also, at the top of the page where you see how many days left to sailing, it shows 16,690 days until sailing, only on that page. On any other page of the site it still shows my actual days left, which is currently 97 until my next cruise. Anyone have an explanation for this? Thanks.

Ignore that and just search for cruises like you normally would from the homepage. As long as you're signed in, the Casino specials will show as a little red exclamation point next to the applicable sailings.

 

Forget what I said about the Casino offers (although that's what would happen if you had one). You can search for the Journey cruises from the homepage I think. The lower prices should show up on the ones that have the specials on them.

OK. I signed in and searched the Journey Cruises by clicking on the bottom left banner on the main page and it shows the special prices the same way it shows the Casino offers - via a little red exclamation point that says "Special Offer" next to it.

Okay, thanks for the info. But I'm still curious about the 16,690 days until sailing. That has me baffled... but not curious enough to make a phone call about it.

It's a glitch in their system that happens from time to time. Others have reported it on here as well recently. Don't worry about it. As long as your reservation is still there, you're good to go!

Thanks. I wasn't worried about it, as my real number of days until sailing shows on every page but that one. I was simply mystified about it. A "glitch" sounds like as reasonable an explanation as any I'm likely to hear. Case closed, I guess. Thank you again.
